Brian Sellers-Peterson of Episcopal Relief and Development has posted some short videos (1 minute on average) of Verapaz in the aftermath of the landslide last week. As of 16 November, the Civil Authorities have reported 194 dead of which 89 lived in the department of San Vicente. A total of 15900 people were housed in 123 shelters in all affected areas. A total of 223 homes were totally destroyed; 239 houses partially destroyed and 630 in danger. Thirty-four bridges were affected and twelve major roads need repair.

A neighborhood destroyed. The Anglican Episcopal Church of El Salvador has committed to helping 1500 families, that is over 6000 individuals.
